Here are five great reasons why you should consider travelling by train on your next trip abroad!

Train fares can work out as a more economical option, plus depending on where you’re travelling and how long in advance you’re booking the tickets, there are often good ticket deals available.

If you’re hopeless at travelling light or need to take a lot of baggage with you, then you don’t need to worry so much about excess baggage charges when travelling by train. Finally, another great reason to travel on holiday by train is that you can better views. Although seeing the world from above when you’re on a plane can be fascinating on a clear day, when you’re travelling by train there’s generally more scenery to see, whether urban, country or coastal.

If it’s your first time visiting an area, you can see a lot more of it up close as you travel by train than you would if you were simply flying over it.
